Racial identity splays a vital role in the health care services in Australia because this is a country with high racial diversification. I am not neither aboriginal nor white Australian resident but have visited this country for attending registered nursing courses. The cultural difference is always prominent in this regard and I am trying hard to come up with the challenges and make sure I meet all the requirements of my clients.

The cultural dimensions relating class and ethnicity can be experienced in the Australian society and more specifically when I come across the clients visiting hospitals for recovery. Class division in the Australian society is based on the financial capabilities of people and these determine how the person will be treated by others. Despite the fact that the Australian legislation strictly prohibits discrimination on the basis of class and culture, the society practices the same quite frequently. I have come across certain patents who have a long history or poverty and resulted health loss.

Cultural background of the persons determine the reaction and facilities he will have. This cultural discrimination demotivated me.

From different course activities, I have found out that my communication system is highly influenced by my cultural background so also my thought process. I need to enhance team work skills to learn from real life experiences and increase cultural competence as my team was culturally diverse and we treat culturally diverse community.

Code of ethics to me is a mandatory guideline for every profession that can bind the employees and management to follow ethical methods of problem solving. In the nursing profession, ethical decision making is vital for helping the patients and protecting them from all the odds. In addition to this I believe, the personal information of the clients are in our hand and we must protect them carefully. The tendency to show more empathy to one patient and depriving others will not follow social justice. I practice professional values and response to the crisis so that meeting ethical criteria become easier.

Code of conduct in the nursing profession has several principles which enable the nursing professionals to follow ethical and moral path while serving the clients. In addition to this, the nursing professionals are also responsible to practice all the patients’ equality and must not practice any discriminative behavior. I must be recognizing these study or typical barriers and free myself from such thoughts (Stievano & Tschudin, 2019). My culture has taught me to value hard work and honesty in Survival. As an aboriginal and Torres Strait islander I must practice respect for nature and human beings. I also respect others efforts despite I have no close proximity with their ethnic and religious practices. I am always prepare to engage with people and practice to a dialogue for sharing knowledge. Seeking cultural knowledge can enhance my cultural competence and demonstrate reciprocity (Cowin et al., 2019). If I show respect to the cultural background of other team members, then only I will be respected within the team and an engaged workforce can be developed. Comparing cultural safety from different points of view is mandatory because this widens the capacity to learn from life and have an unforgettable experience. My value of not judging others in terms of their economic background and ethnicity has enabled me to overcome most of the deprivation issues throughout my life and I extend support who need me in any situation have increased the number of well-wishers.

Social determinants of health is one of the major aspects of successful Health Care facilities provided to patients from different cultural background. The social determinants of health at the non-medical factors which can interview with the help outcomes. These are related to the situations with which people are born, grow and age. This is a wider set of forces that shaped conditions of the human life. Social determinants include the economic policies, development agenda, social policies, social norms and the political systems (Hartin, Birks & Lindsay, 2018). Social determinants of health can reflect the inequalities practiced in the society along with the unfair differences of health status within and among the countries. The level of income is closely associated with treatment facilities provided to the citizens hence the people living in lower so she cannot position can suffer from worse health issues.

I am an aboriginal student learing in Australia University for becoming a registered nurse and practice in this Hospital. I have faced several discrimination throughout my life. It is not only limited to my life only but also the generations before me (Birks et al., 2019). There is a history of conflict between the aboriginal Australian the white Australian regarding land natural resources available in the country. The cultural difference has led by forefathers to suffer from social and economic deprivation (Birks et al., 2018). In government social protection were not provided to them and the generation was not educated formally. Unemployment had increased poverty and we could not available health care system practiced in the cities of Australia. My generation however has been supported by the government quit successfully and we were provided with formal education and Employment. In addition to this food in security and basic housing facility were not available for the aboriginal and Torres Strait initially. The system reason why victimization in terms of Healthcare facilities were more prominent. Accessing the portable health care services of a decent quality were not available for these people.

All of these problem situations have been faced by my ancestors but the situation has changed now. I despite come from aboriginal community, undergoes facilitative systems and establish my right as a human being.
